LIST OF BILLIONAIRES BANKROLLING RAILA ODINGA’S PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGNS

When Raila met Kikuyu business tycoons, a lot of what was discussed at that time was shrouded in secrecy. Now details are emerging that Murang’a tycoons have made some requests to Raila Odinga. One of the request is that they he chooses one of their own as running mate. In support, they are going to pump millions of shillings into his campaign.

It emerges that Murang’a tycoons are a disgruntled lot. They feel that their area has never produced a kingpin. Although Mt Kenya has produced presidents for 34 years combined, none has ever come from Murang’a. They feel it’s their time at least to produce even if it’s a deputy president.

Sources says  the leaders are keen on having the former Gatanga member of parliament Peter Kenneth to be the next Kikuyu kingpin. Peter Kenneth who hails from Gatanga contested the Nairobi gubernatorial seat in 2017 where he lost to Mike Mbuvi Sonko.

According to reports, the Murang’a tycoons who have already endorsed Peter Kenneth to become the region’s kingpin include former Equity bank chairman Stanley Munga, Equity bank CEO James Mwangi, Investment banker Jimnah Mbaru, and former Britam boss Benson Wairegi.
