Esther Wanjiru Beats Odds, Secures Spot in Africa Monologue Challenge Finals From A Pool Of 2000 Applicants

Ten finalists out of 2,000 applicants from across Africa are set to converge in Uganda for the much-anticipated Africa Monologue Challenge (AMC) 2024.

The Africa Monologue Challenge is an initiative of MK Casting, Ghana’s premier casting company in collaboration with the African Chamber of Content Prodducers

The challenge has entered season 2 with Ten Finalists From ten different African countries expected to participate, each finalist brings a unique story and a vibrant cultural heritage to the stage.

The grandeur begins on the 26th of May 2024 and The crescendo of talent peaks on the 16th of June 2024.

Among the finalists is Esther Wanjiru, a passionate Kenyan Actor, monologue, and emerging film director known for her compelling storytelling.

Esther believes in the power of storytelling for societal change and economic growth and her passion for the craft shines through in every performance and project she undertakes.

Her dedication to advocating for policies that support filmmakers and increase access to global markets confirms her commitment to the art form.

Her enthusiasm and determination make her a standout contender for the Africa Monologue Challenge victory.

In an interview with K24 News, Esther noted that she is not just interested in winning but to use the competition to bring changes in the society.
