APPLY FOR KDF 2022/2023 RECRUITMENT PROCESS HERE

The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) recruitments takes place every year in the months of August, September and October according to the Kenya DAILY NATION of 17 November 2021.

Recruitments of KDF servicemen/women,constables, Tradesmen/women and other posts are does in each years recruitments.

The recruitment dates and center of this year are yet to be released and once released, they will be posted here. Below are mandatory requirements for eligibility as posted by KDF on 17 November daily nation.

> One must be a Kenyan citizen and should not have a dual citizenship.

> One should have an age of Between 18 and 26 years old for GSO Cadets, not above 30 years for specialist Officers and not above 39 years for chaplains.

> One should have a minimum of garde D (plain) in KCSE.

> Be in possession of valid Kenya National Identity Card

> One should be physically and medically fit in accordance with the KDF standards.

> One should not have any criminal record.

> Potential candidates must turn up in appropriate running gear.

> Female candidates must NOT be pregnant at recruitment and during training.

> Minimum Height:

Men 1.60m(5ft 3in)

Women 1.52m (5ft)

> Minimum Weight

Men 54.55 kg (120lb)

Women 50.00 kg (110lb)

General Service Officer (GSO) requirements

> Cadets must hold a minimum grade of B (plain) in KCSE with at least C+ (plus) in English, Mathematics and one science subject.

> The initial training period for this category Will cover three continuous years leading to a BSc in military Science and Security Studies on successful completion.

Specialist Officers

> One must hold a minimum grade of B (plain) in KCSE with at least C+ in English, Mathematics and one Science subject.

> Must be a holder of an undergraduate degree from a recognize University/ Institution and be registered with Statutory body where applicable.

> The initial training period for the specialist Officers will not be less than 3 months.

Servicemen/women (General Duty) Recruits

Must hold a minimum mean grade of D plain in KCSE.
