WHAT CITIZEN TV DID TO WILLIAM RUTO LAST NIGHT

Citizen TV has cut short the Deputy President William Ruto’s Manifesto Launch event at Kasarani immediately after the Deputy President William Ruto finished his speech.

After the Deputy President William Ruto finished his speech, it was followed by the question and answer session. Later DP Ruto’s running mate Rigathi Gachagua made his speech.

However Citizen TV did not air this session of DP Ruto’s Manifesto Launch since it switched to Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah’s manifesto launch.

While DP Ruto was launching his manifesto, he stated that an economic policy should ensure that his government will use capital in a manner that benefits majority of people and the whole country at large.

DP Ruto further cited a report which stated that about 19 million Kenyans only are employed currently as he stated that his government’s major goal would be to create more jobs.

On the other hand, George Wajackoyah has said that his main agenda would be to legalize Marijuana. He stated that if Kenya grew bhang for export, Nyeri County for example in one year would earn equivalent of Ethiopia’s GDP. Wajakoyah added that Kenya would rare snakes and each snake farmer would earn around Sh600,000 per vial of anti venom.
