SHE COLLAPSED AND DIED IN THE MARKET

Kirinyaga county governor Anne Waiguru, had delivered a sad message to Kenyans following the death of one of her ardent supporter.

Taking to her Official Social Media Pages, the second time United Democratic Alliance Party governor revealed that her ardent supporter identified as Sophia Muthike just collapsed and died in Kianjiru market.

According to Governor Waiguru, Sophia was to meet her husband at the market just shortly after she had attended the Madaraka day celebrations.

“I received with great shock and sadness the news of the sudden demise of Ms Sophia Muthike, my ardent supporter from Karumandi ward.” Governor Waiguru posted on her official social media pages.

“Sophia suddenly collapsed and died upon arriving at Kianjiru market, where she was meeting with her husband after the Madaraka Day celebrations in Embu.” The Kirinyaga county governor added.

She sent the message of condolences to the family members and relatives as she asked for God’s comfort upon them.

“My thoughts and prayers are with her husband, family, relatives and friends that God grants them peace and comfort during this time of grief.” The Kirinyaga county governor added.
