RAILA REVEALS WHEN HE WILL FILE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PETITION

Azimio To File The Presidential Election Petition At Supreme Court On Sunday, Oparanya Says.

The Kakamega county Governer Honourable Wycliffe Oparanya has said that the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party will tomorrow, Sunday file a presidential election petition at the Supreme Court on Sunday.

This latest development comes ahead of the Monday 2pm deadline and the Coalition will be seeking to overturn the Presidential elections that saw the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) declare the deputy President William Samoei Ruto as the winner.

The petition will be heard by a bench of seven judges of the supreme court led by the Chief Justice Lady Justice Martha Koome and her deputy Lady Justice Philomena Mwilu and they each give a verdict on the case at the end of the hearing.

The petition will be filed by Raila Odinga who was the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party Presidential candidate and he will. E seeking to have the Presidential polls overturned by the top court in the country.

Oparanya made the announcement on his social media pages and he stated that and I quote “Following the disputed presidential elections, Azimio will tomorrow file a case in Supreme court to seek overturning of results that declared deputy president H.E William Ruto a winner.”

He added that they do have tangible evidence that will present before the Court “We have 

tangible evidence that we will present before the court that will support our case and have the results nullified.”

He further asked the country to pray for Raila Odinga.
