Susan Wangari is the name of the wife of a man who was sprayed by bullets along Thika road at Gwa Kairu, Ruiru on Tuesday, June 22. According to the recent revealed details by the police, Susan Wangari has a dark past which the officer think is connected to the death of her husband.
According to the reports, Daniel Gucoma, Wangari’s husband is now suspected to have been a member and leader of gang that has been terrorizing businessmen in Nairobi and was involved in a series of crimes. In accordance to the new released information, Gucoma’s wife and his family members are now suspected to have known about the organized series of crimes which were being conducted in Nairobi city.
The newly released police reports confirms that Wangari has a dark history from serving months in prison to imposing herself as a policewoman. Wangari was arrested in 2014 after allegedly carjacking a motorist at gunpoint in Nairobi, according to police who spoke with a local media.
Wangari was reported to have faked police credentials and imposed as a policewoman. She was accused of assaulting a businessman in Nairobi in 2017.
The assaulted businessman claimed that Wangari car hijacked him in company with another man and that is when she was arrested. She pleaded not guilty and was released on a Ksh500,000 bond. In 2020, the woman and her husband were further accused of robbery with violence.
“I am not aware of what you are talking about. My husband was not a criminal and neither am I,” This how Wangari defended herself on the day her husband died. She claimed that she was also in deep danger as she narrowly survived the incident.
