PARENTS WATCH HELPLESS AS ANOTHER TOP SCHOOL GOES UP IN FLAMES

Nyamira Boys High school in Nyamira South Sub County Nyamira County is currently on fire.

Fire response team from the County government, students and the community are battling the fire.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.

Nyamira Boys becomes the third institution in the Gusii Region to be razed down after two other institutions went up on flames last week.

Amabuko secondary in Nyaribari Masaba constituency and Nyabigena secondary school were on fire last week.

At Amabuko, the fire razed down a dormitory housing 70 students destroying property of unknown value.

At Nyabigena which is located in South Mugirango constituency, more than 140 students were affected after a dormitory burnt down.

And on Saturday, Kakamega High School was closed indefinitely following a dawn fire that gutted two dormitories.

No official communication has been made on the fire at Nyamira Boys as the fire fighting exercise is underway.
