officer whose identity has been withheld said in an interview with a Switch TV journalist that the wage cut has put many police officers in temptations, which have formed the backbone of growing terror cases in the country.

This comes at a time police inspector General Hillary Mutyambai ordered that the Salary cut for police officers to begin on 7th November this year.

Among the officers who are been affected by this new directive are the graduate police Constables.

The police statement comes barely two days after an Ethiopian businessman Samson Teklemichael based in Nairobi was abducted by unknown people on Friday, November 19.

Samson was driving his Bentley car when he was stopped in broad daylight by a man wearing traffic police attires and later removed by other men in civilian clothes.

Other road users recorded the scene as he was pulled inside a Subaru sedan.
