HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE DEAD IN ELDORET

Incidents where Kenyans have lost their lives as a result of trucks losing control have been on the rise in the recent past with the government urging motorists to be more careful.

Trucks losing control and ramming passersby as well as other Motorists have been on the rise in circumstances that are unclear all over the country.

Just a few days ago, a truck lost control in Migori and rammed into people as well as vehicles killing several.

This morning, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from Eldoret Town in Uasin Gishu County, there has been a nasty accident involving a truck.

The reports that we have with us intimate that a truck is said to have lost control and rammed several businesses in the area a few moments ago.

The truck lost control at a place that is known as Kipkaren Market in Eldoret and has destroyed several of the makeshift kiosks along the way.

The number of fatalities is still unknown but police are on the scene assessing the situation and to help evacuate those that have been injured as a result.

Efforts by Good Samaritans to free those trapped is also underway at the scene of the accident that has happened just moments ago at the famous Kipkaren Market.

Motorists plying the route have been advised to be extra careful to avoid these scenes that have led to loss of lives this morning in Eldoret Town.
