On Saturday, April 1, 2023, President William Ruto left the Kenya Kwanza camp completely perplexed after meeting opposition leader Raila Odinga.

The two leaders were meeting privately; nobody outside of the Kenya Kwanza and Azimio camps was aware of it. In view of the ongoing protests Raila has called for, this is particularly true.

According to sources from the statehouse, the two leaders want to put an end to the continuous demonstrations across the country since they are impeding the economy’s growth. Rumor has it that President Ruto invited Raila Odinga to the Statehouse in hopes of shaking hands.

Raila showed up at the Statehouse just before six in a paramilitary outfit resembling the one he had been wearing throughout the protests. He was accompanied by Senator Sifuna, Martha Karua, and MP Babu Owino.

CS Moses Kuria, the Deputy President, and MP Ndidi Nyoro are also present at the meeting with President Ruto.

There are still little facts available regarding the meeting even though Kenyans are reminded that today is National Fools Day and that this message has merely misled you because there is no such gathering. Enjoy yourself and be on the lookout for similar misleading stories.
