MASSIVE PROTEST ROCKS MOSES KURIA’S BACKYARD

The raid on the property of the former president Uhuru Kenyatta has continued to spark mixed reactions from Kenyans who are still questioning the motive behind the raid.

This has continued despite the pledge by the IG of police Japheth Koome that he will arrest those responsible.

Two days down the line since that raid happened, no major arrest has been made leaving questions on why the police are going slow on bringing to book those who are implicated.

As Kenyans continue to wait for the arrest to happen, a section Gatundu South residents have today protested over the raid of the Kenyatta property.

The group of women said that it was so bad for people to raid the property of Mama Ngina family. Speaking after holding protests on Wednesday, the women took issue with DP Gachagua, saying that his inaction led to the destruction of property worth millions of shillings.

“The invasion poses a threat to our lives and property because the invaders might also come to our homes.

We want Gachagua, because he is our son and brother, to apologize to Mama Ngina. And she should also be given state security to protect them.” Ruth Njeri Gichuri.

The irate women said that the Kenyatta family deserves respect and honour, claiming that they have paid huge prices to liberate the country from colonialism and have gone further to institute key developments that Kenyans are now enjoying saying they
