Group Storms Bomas of Kenya

A group has threatened to storm Bomas of Kenya where the National Dialogue Committee sits to discuss the pertinent issues raised and hijack the talks.

According to the information shared, the group identified as Operation Linda Jamii, a lobby group have today threatened to mobilise its members and other players and march to the Bomas of Kenya and hijack the ongoing talks being held by representatives of the two main political formations in the country, the Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance and the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

The group led by Professor Fred Ogola, has come out to express its concerns over the direction that the talks are taking claiming that the National Dialogue Committee co-chaired by Wiper Party Leader President Kalonzo Musyoka and National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah is looking at ways to amend the constitution.

According to Ogola the lobby group had already collected signatures to amend the constitution to factor in issues being raised by the National Dialogue Committee .
