Professor Fred Ogola has criticized Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua after he received the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Tuesday while pocketing one of his hands.
Ogola argued that it was wrong for the deputy president to great an elder in such a manner alleging that even President William Ruto and the former President Uhuru Kenyatta would not pocket while greeting the ODM party leader.
“Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has missed a test of leadership. You cant greet @RailaOdinga the Enigma with your hands in the pocket. Even @WilliamsRuto & @4thPresidentKE would not do that. That is why @rigathi needs some PR education to look his office because now his office is making him not vice versa,” he wrote.
Raila joined other delegates for the second day of the Africa Climate Summit an event that was officially opened by President William Ruto yesterday.
At least 20 Heads of States have arrived with more than 3,000 delegates attending the event being co-hosted by the Kenyan government and the African Union.
