ANYANG NYONG’O STAFF FOUND SLEEPING WITH A PROSTITUTE IN MOMBASA

Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang Nyong’o’s senior staff members were found lying unconscious alongside a sex worker in Nyali, Mombasa County.

The two county officers and an MCA were found unconscious in an apartment in Nyali after they were reportedly drugged by sex workers they met at a popular restaurant in the area.

A report by the DCI notes that the three officers had gone to Masai Beach Restaurant to enjoy some drinks where they were approached by some sex workers.

The officers are said to have enjoyed the company of the women until late in the night. At around 3 am the sex workers are said to have told the officers that they return to their apartment where they could spend together.

It is at the apartment that the sex workers are said to have drugged the county officers using the drinks they bought from the restaurant before they left.

The following morning, when their colleagues with whom they had traveled with from Kisumu went looking for them, they found the senior officers lying unconscious in their rooms.

Also found in the company of the officer reeling from the effects of drugs was one of the sex workers who unknowingly took a drink she had spiked.

The sex worker identified as Leah Mwenja’s two other accomplices fled the scene after realizing that she had passed out from the drug.

Her accomplices are said to have made their way with the officers’ property including laptops, mobile phones, and other valuables.

Mwenja was, however, arrested and taken to Nyali police station where she is currently being interrogated on the whereabouts of her partners in crime to recover the valuables stolen from the Senior County Officers.

Doctors at the Coast General Hospital who treated the county officials have declared them out of danger, according to a report by a local publication.
