WAAH, SO SAD: CHEBUKATI DOES THE UNTHINKABLE TO ALL IEBC COMMISSIONERS

According to news hitting the air waves just now, IEBC’s Chairperson Wafula Chebukati has removed all the members from the commission’s whatsapp group.

According to the daily Nation, the move by Chebukati comes amid an on-going court case where the Azimio wing want the courts to nullify the August 9th polls.

Chebukati several days ago named William Ruto as the president elect after he beat his close rival from Azimio Raila Odinga with over 200k votes.

Nevertheless, the Azimio wing have accused the Chairperson of being biased and not following the law during the past elections.

According to the Azimio wing, the maths used to announce William Ruto as the president elect are not valid.

Nevertheless, with the court cases now heating up, both teams have selected some good lawyers to represent them in the next few days.

The move by Chebukati comes barely hours after it emerged that four commissioners who stormed out of Bomas of Kenya where IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati named William Ruto as the president elect will be appearing as witnesses for the Azimio wing.

The division in The IEBC has caused some worrying developments with Chebukati and the remaining commissioner’s Alleging that the four who walked out wanted to force a rerun of the presidential election something that Chebukati refused to adhere to.
