Uhuru Finally Agrees to Handshake Gachagua

Ex President Uhuru Kenyatta has finally responded to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s call for a handshake with him while speaking on his retirement.

The former President has declined Gachagua’s request for a handshake over lack of respect for him and his family.

A close associate of the former President was quoted saying that Uhuru said he doesn’t want to listen to anybody who has been portraying him negatively even after he handed over power.

The associate further went on to say that the former President has kept his calm even when he was attacked and that now he just wants to enjoy his retirement.

Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua was a fiercest critic of ex President Uhuru Kenyatta and had recently taken a soft stance on the former President. He said that he was willing to work with the former President to unite the Mt Kenya region people.

He said that he had instructed his team not to launch attacks on Kenyatta again but allow him to enjoy his peace as a former President.
