TROUBLE FOR WILLIAM RUTO AS ANOTHER KEY POLITICIAN DUMPS HIM

Former Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) boss Daniel Manduku has ditched Deputy President William Ruto-led United Democratic Alliance (UDA) for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

Manduku, who is eyeing the Nyaribari Masaba constituency seat, has been working with DP Ruto until he recently when joined Raila Odinga-led ODM.

The former National Construction Authority (NCA) boss was amongst thousands of delegates who on Saturday, February 26 attended the ODM National Delegates Convention (NDC).

His attendance at the ODM convention also came two days after he hinted that he was joining Raila’s Azimio la Umoja movement.

Manduku wants to take over from Ezekiel Machogu who has served as Nyaribari MP for one term. Machogu, who recently joined UDA, is seeking to replace Kisii Governor James Ongwae whose term is coming to an end in August.
