THIS IS BAD: ROSELYN AKOMBE EXPOSES CHEBUKATI BADLY.

Gichugu Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) returning officer Geoffrey Gitobu died on Monday, August 22 under mysterious circumstances.  

The deceased is said to have collapsed while at IEBC offices in Nanyuki and was pronounced dead in one of the private health facilities where he was rushed to.  

County returning officer Jane Gitonga disclosed that he had gone to visit his family and had never complained of any illness. 

In a statement via Twitter on Tuesday, August 23, Former IEBC Roselyn Akombe mourned Mr. Gitobu calling for the end of the ‘senseless’ incidents. 

“No words to describe the pain of yet another loss of a public servant who was serving his country. Lost for any words to condole the family of Gitobu and the IEBC Kenya staff.  

While we await the cause of this sudden death, it is time to stop these senseless incidents,” she stated.

This comes days after the Missing Embakasi East IEBC returning officer Daniel Mbolu Musyoka was found dead.

His body was found in a thicket in Mariko near Amboseli National Park.
