Martha Karua and Maina Njenga Blocked in a Private Hotel

Reports have emerged that Azimio principal Martha Karua and former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga have been blocked from leaving a local hotel in Nanyuki, Laikipia County as Azimio protests continues.

According to the information shared by a reliable source of information, the two Azimio bigwigs have allegedly been blocked from leaving the hotel to take part in the ongoing Azimio protests.

It should be remembered that the opposition wing had announced a three-day nationwide protests against the Kenya Kwanza government, citing the high cost of living in the country as the main reason behind the demonstrations.

Reasons behind the blockage of the Azimio bigwigs Martha Karua and Maina Njenga however remains scanty but we will share more details as they arrive.

Moreover, reports of Azimio leaders and their allies being arrested have emerged since the beginning of the protests today morning.

ODM’s communications Director Philip Etale has claimed that Police have a few minutes ago, raided the house of Raila Odinga’s spokesman Dennis Onyango, along Mbagathi Way.

Itale alleged that the police ransacked the house and arrested Mr. Onyango. He also alleged that Onyango’s son says that the drrove off with him in two Subaru vehicles.
