😢😢 Ruto Receives Bad News From Mt Kenya Just A Day After Bhukungu Declaration

Murang’a Governor Mwangi wa Iria has expressed confidence that he will beat his opponents in the August 8 presidential race.

The governor said he is largely banking on the votes from the Mount Kenya region to clinch the seat.

The governor said he is not in the race to test the waters as many people have been claiming, adding that he is sure of becoming the next President of this country.

“If I get the eight million votes from the region, that will be enough to take me to State House and no other candidate can get such numbers,” he said.

He faulted a section of leaders who have been claiming that the presidential contest is a two horse race between ODM leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto, saying this is demeaning other candidates like him.

He said the narrative has been on for quite sometime, claiming it is a deliberate effort to discourage other candidates from vying for the top most seat.

“If these two are horses, does it mean that we are cows and that’s why we can’t be recognized?” He posed.

Wa Iria blames the current divisions in the region on leaders who he claimed are seeking different political affiliations to serve their own interests but not the people.
