Gachagua Settle Differences With Uhuru

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua said he had reached out to former President Uhuru Kenyatta in an effort to bring Mt. Kenya together in preparation for the 2027 General Election.

After losing the race for Mt. Kenya’s political soul to President William Ruto in the 2022 General Elections, he declared he was determined to put the bitterness in the country behind him.

Kenyatta lost the presidency race because he supported Raila Odinga. “Despite everything, we have decided to accept him as our honorable son and statesman,” Gachagua remarked.

And he continued, “As Mt. Kenya leaders, we have agreed not to be attacking him, and I am preparing to hold negotiations with him. I’ve told everyone to treat him with dignity, and he’s doing his part by keeping quiet.

About Moses Kuria who has been known for shouting unprintable epithets against Mr Kenyatta and Mama Ngina Kenyatta, the Deputy President said it will be remedied.

The schism in the leadership of the Mt Kenya area worsened following an incident when thugs stormed the Kenyatta family’s Northlands ranch in Ruiru, chopping down trees and stealing more than 1,500 sheep.

“I am the one who talked to the president to grant Kuria work in the government. I plan to have a conversation with Kuria and perhaps get him to stop being such a terrible boy. In order to comply with the terms of the civil, I intend to give him a panel beating. I can make his speech sound better,” Gachagua promised.

To emphasize his point, Gachagua said, “I am at this moment the father of the Mt Kenya nation.” The 13% that followed Azimio will be readmitted. We will be one by the year 2027.

He continued, “I shall remain faithful to President William Ruto. I’ll give in to him, and we’ll keep working until 2027, when we can perhaps go back to the people and ask them for another term.

He said he is aware that agricultural reforms are the only avenue to consolidate Mt Kenya voters if commodity prices of output such as coffee improve.

We need the support of everyone, but I hear that the coffee farmers are very upset about this. They should relax. To begin reorganizing the value chain, I am pooling Sh6 billion from New KPCU, treasury, and Cooperative bank to purchase out their coffee. Coffee sales have been halted, he said, because of the brokers we’re fighting.

As soon as next week, the acquisition will be finalized, and we will have a coffee warehouse and a KPCU office in Dubai as we take back control of the value chain from brokers, he added.

His words, “I’m not all that clever, I’m not even all that stupid…”When we meet the American baron who buys off our coffee from local brokers, it will be because of my expertise in the coffee industry.

On October 21, 2023, I will be sponsoring a golf event in Nyeri to collect money for drug rehabilitation services for Mt. Kenya addicts so that they can be returned to society and used to increase our population. It’s part of regional unification negotiations I’m having,” he explained.
