Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju confirmed that President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM party leader Raila Odinga were working on a coalition deal.

The Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has dropped a major clue about the tour between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Orange Democratic Party Leader Raila Odinga in the Coast region.

While speaking to a local media house on Friday Night, Raphael Tuju downplayed the United Democratic Alliances’ victory in Kiagu ward By-elections in Meru County citing that the Jubilee Party is still strong and something is coming up soon.

Tuju said that President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga who are currently in Coast will be engaging in more extensive talks about their intended Coalition. He said that there is something on the way from the two Leaders.

Tuju went ahead to say that By-elections don’t actually imply how the ground is or does not in any way translate to the General elections. He said that the Jubilee Party will bounce back strong after forming a Coalition with the Orange Democratic Party.
