IDENTITY OF THE DEAD IEBC OFFICIAL AND CAUSE OF HIS DEATH.

The returning officer for Gichugu constituency in Kirinyaga county Geoffrey Gitobu has died under mysterious circumstances.

Reports reaching K24 news indicate Gitobu died today, Monday, August 22, just days after his Embakasi East counterpart also died a painful death.

According to information shared by journalist Ali Manzu, the returning officer collapsed and died; the cause of his death is yet to be established.
