Uda Politicians Suspended From Senate Until Next Year

News reaching K24 news just now is that nominated senator Gloria Orwoba have been suspended from the Senate over alleged gross misconduct.

According to the information shared by a reliable source, Senator Orwoba, who is serving as nominated senator under the ruling UDA party, have been suspended from the Senate for five good months over the alleged gross misconduct.

“SENATOR GLORIA Orwoba suspended from Senate until February next year over alleged gross misconduct,” reported the source.

According the the source, the decision to suspend the senator was arrived at by the Senate powers and Privileges committee.

The committee have reportedly decided that the nominated senator Gloria Orwoba will resume the House seatings in February next year.

However, details still remain scanty on what exactly the senator could have done to warrant such a punishment.
