Deputy President William Ruto lost his cool again during a rally in Vihiga after a man heckled him as he was addressing the residents.
In a video that is already making rounds online, Ruto was heard exchanging words with the hustler, asking him to leave because he had brought “kisiriani” in his meeting.
“You young man! Stop talking back to me! Kama umeleta kisirani kwa hii mkutano utoke (if you have brought chaos in my meeting I want you to leave),” he said.
It was understood that the DP’s rally was being interrupted by rival groups allied to ANC Vihiga gubernatorial candidate Alfred Agoi and Sabatia UDA MP aspirant Clement Sloya.
He had pleaded with the rowdy youths to stop interrupting his meeting before he lost his temper and blasted one of them.
Ruto blasts hecklers in Laikipia county
This is not the first time that the DP, who is one of the front-runners in the presidential race, is losing his cool.
On Tuesday, December 7, 2021, he also lost his temper in Laikipia county after rowdy youths heckled him as he championed his hustler nation narrative.
The presidential aspirant was heard lashing out at the youths while insisting no one should disrupt his event.
“Can you please plan your meeting and stop this nonsense. No, no, no, no, no, we can’t accept you to disrupt our meeting. You cannot come and heckle us here. Are you listening to me? Let’s be disciplined and maintain order,” an enraged Ruto said.
