Immediately after the news Trevor Ombija who standing in for Yvonne Okwara requested to join the News Gang Crew in deliberating on the national issues of concern but his request was turned down and thus he had to leave the studio.
The journalists discussed on the future of One Kenya Alliance, the building bridges initiative and Ruto and Raila horse Race.
Gachuri asserted, “Sunday will be a perfect place to talk about the state of OKA. It will be a good indicator of whether OKA will die in its infancy.”
Linus Kaikai Maintained that the 2022 state house race is a two horse race between the former prime minister Raila Odinga and the deputy president Dr William Ruto.
“They are horses and very experienced at it; they have placed the game at a high stake. We need to accept the similarity of the politics of Raila and Ruto. Both thrive in working up the crowds,” Kaikai said.
