REAL REASON WHY ODM PICKED LEDAMA INSTEAD OF SIFUNA IN MINORITY POSITION

Yesterday, it was anticipated that Edwin Sifuna, a senator from Nairobi and the secretary general of the ODM, would be named the deputy minority chief whip.

Speaker Amason Kingi’s announcement of adjustments resulted in Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina assuming the seat that had previously been given to Sifuna.

However, sources claim that the cries of discontent from ODM party supporters when the list of leaders was announced were what prompted the adjustments.

A group of young ODM MPs, including Babu Owino of Embakasi East and Ledama of Narok, started a commotion within the party by complaining that the party had ignored the youths.

In an effort to discuss a future other than Azimio’s, Ole Kina once threatened to start youth demonstrations all throughout the nation.

It was intended to placate him and his group in order to stop more disputes inside the party by appointing him deputy chief whip. At the second Azimio PG meeting last week, the decision was made.
