RAILA PROMISES MUSALIA MUDAVADI THIS JOB

Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga has now pledged to include Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi in his government if he’s elected next Tuesday.

Speaking during an Azimio rally in Vihiga, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader stated that he was interested in working with Mudavadi in his administration.

“He is my son when we go to the government, I will call him. This time round I told him to come to my side. He was afraid again and got pulled to the other side,” he stated.

Mudavadi ruled any out the possibility of working with Raila on January 23, 2022, after he joined Deputy President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza alliance.

At the time, the former vice president stated that Raila’s coalition wasn’t about the country’s unity terming it as a ‘self-preservation’ platform for some ‘cunning individuals.

“The patterns are only well known and predictable. They have lost frequency and network. We have had enough of these self-preservation schemes. We are tired. Enough is enough. Let us not lie to each other we will not work with you,” Mudavadi remarked.

He further stated that he opted to work with Ruto because Raila did not honour his promises.

“We had trouble with untrustworthy persons before and even when we have given them another chance to redeem themselves, they have failed miserably by returning to their old mischief.”

“It is true that after all, bad manners die hard. We shall no longer countenance the company of those who cannot be trusted. No! Never again.” he added.
