NELSON HAVI LISTS 5 ODM CANDIDATES HE IS SUPPORTING.

Former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Nelson Havi has named five Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) candidates he will support in the August polls.

In a tweet on Tuesday, 12th July, Havi listed the politicians he is praying for ahead of the general election.

The five are Senior Counsels James Orengo, Prof Tom Ojienda, Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo, former Nairobi governor Evans Kidero and blogger Robert Alai.

“Five People in ODM I pray for and support in this election: James Orengo SC; Tom Ojienda SC; Millie Odhiambo; Dr Evans Kidero; and Robert Alai. Leadership is about values and competencies. Often, Political Parties are vehicles of service, as their manifestos converge in some ways,” tweeted Havi.

Orengo is vying for the Siaya Gubernatorial seat and is facing stiff competition from former Rarieda MP Nicholas Gumbo of the United Democratic Movement (UDM).

Prof Ojienda is vying for the Kisumu Senate while blogger Robert Alai is eyeing the Kileleshwa MCA seat.

Dr Evans Kidero who is an independent candidate is vying for Homa bay gubernatorial seat. Kidero will battle it out with Gladys Wanga who is vying for the seat on an ODM ticket.

Havi is vying for the Westlands MP seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.

The prominent lawyer is facing off against an ODM candidate, incumbent Tim Wanyonyi.
