KAYOLE ON FIRE AFTER POLICE OFFICERS KILLS ANOTHER MAN

Hundreds of Kayole residents have taken to the streets to demonstrate after police allegedly shot and killed one of them.

According to several reports on social media, locals have lit bonfires on the highway, protesting another macabre killing allegedly caused by police.

The victim, who is yet to be identified was killed while in police custody for flouting curfew rules. Sources say he had texted his wife, telling her he had been arrested and the car in which he had been bundled in.

The incident happens at a time, police are on the spot over arbitrary killings during curfew hours.

Six police officers are in custody, ready to be charged with the murder of two Embu brothers; Emmanuel Mutura and Benson Njiru.
