GOVT CHANGES TUNE ON CBC, ANNOUNCES NEW SYSTEM.

The highly coveted Kenya’s education system, that is, the Competency Based Curriculum has today taken a fresh twist after the Kenyan Government unravelled new reforms set to be institutionalized on the curriculum.

Addressing via the Ministry of Education today the 3rd of May 2023, the Kenyan Government has articulated that it is devotedly working on a set of measures fostered towards shooting down the number of subjects currently being taught in the Competency Based Curriculum.

The Kenyan Government has announced that the reduction in the number of subjects administered in the Competency Based Curriculum will happen in a few weeks time in order to help relieve students of bounty homework that has to a large extent being bewildering them.

Concerned about the difficulties junior secondary schools faced, the CS acknowledged that the government was working with the World Bank to provide the schools’ science labs.
