SPEAKER JB MUTURI WANTS TO KILL THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE

National Assembly Speaker and 2022 Presidential aspirant Justin Muturi has vowed to show no mercy to corrupt individuals.

Speaking at Isinya, Kajiado County on Saturday, February 12, the Presidential aspirant argued that all corrupt individuals should face the firing squad at a public park.

He further promised to deal with corruption, which has bedevilled the country for decades and ruined the economy.

“Such people (the corrupt), should be taken to a park and the firing squad called in,” stated the speaker.

He also wondered why corruption cases last too long in the judicial process yet graft is the core cause of economic problems the country faces.

Muturi noted that the Constitution sets the hearing of a presidential Election dispute to a time frame of 14 days, yet some of the biggest corruption cases never come to a conclusion.

He further noted that there was a high cost to development due to corruption and recommended that important public dockets like Health should be fully devolved to the counties to make them more efficient in offering grassroots services.

During the address, Muturi also called on other politicians to desist from hurling insults at one another while pretending to preach unity.

“You cannot purport to stand for unity yet every time you stand you call others thieves and other bad words,” he added.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, in January 2021, admitted that Ksh2bn was being misappropriated daily from his government.

“These people should not mislead the public that Ksh2billion will be spent, yet what they steal every day is more than Ksh2 billion.

“These people are useless, and I will say it openly, how much do they spend every year?” he stated.

Several former high-ranking government officials such as former Treasury CS Henry Rotich have active corruption cases.
