SAFARICOM SENDS A STRONG WARNING TO CUSTOMERS

Kenya’s leading telecommunication company, Safaricom, has fired a stern warning targeting its customers on its official, verified Twitter page account.

Safaricom raised an alarm to its customers over the existence of fraudsters in the current socio economic system who are on fishy mission of seeking pivotal personal details including identity card numbers and Personal Identification numbers.

The mobile service provider underscored its official phone number which time to time it uses whenever in need of communicating to its customers. It cited 0722 000 000 as the official verified communication number.

It urged customers to keep secret these fundamental personal details, warning them against receiving calls from this heinous group of individuals, urging them to always pick calls when the caller uses its stated phone number.

“Do not talk to fraudsters who ask for your personal details like your ID and PIN number. Safaricom only calls from 0722 000 000,” Safaricom warned.
