REPRIEVE AS NEW GAS REDUCES PRICE TO KSH800

Due to global economic hardship that was created by Covid 19 pandemic and the European war being fought between Russia and Ukraine, the cost of basic commodities such as all oil products including petrol, diesel and cooking gas have been rising steady for the last few months.

Kenyan however have a reason to smile as a new Tanzania company identified as Taifa gas get licensed by the ministry of energy and petroleum in Kenya to sell it’s products in the territory breaking the monopoly of K-gas and Hashi.

Speaking to a local media station, the companies chief executive officer disclosed that they will retail the 6Kg cylinder at a cost of 1200sh when refilling it at 800sh reducing the current market price to half.

Supporting his sentiments, the director of energy and petroleum regulatory authority reveal that Kenyan companies will no longer be able to exploit people.
