Otiende Amollo’s Life in Danger

Otiende Amollo, the Member of Parliament for the Rarieda Constituency, has now claims that his life is in danger.

The lawmaker, a supporter of Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja party, claimed a Subaru had been following him.

According to Amollo, the Subaru was blue and had a KBZ license plate.

So, unknown operatives in a blue Subaru, M/V KBZ ****, have been sent on a mission to eliminate me, I hear. It’s on the road but not in the NTSA database; it’s run out of the Kabete police station. The lawmaker claimed he looked up the vehicle’s information with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), but without success.

And they’re taking my guarantee money for this very reason! but I’m not scared at all. “There have been many martyrs throughout history,” Amollo said.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka’s security detail was allegedly withdrawn, according to a statement made by Azimio La Umoja yesterday.

They claimed that having a security detail was a privilege of being a former prime minister and vice president.

Narc-Kenya Party leader Martha Karua delivered a statement at Nairobi’s Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation, slamming the government for suppressing their protests.

“Ruto government has ordered the immediate withdrawal of security details of Raila Odinga, Martha Karua, and Kalonzo Musyoka together with those of other elected leaders in Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition.” it is quoted.

Members of Azimio La Umoja were met with tear gas as they attempted to deliver a petition to the President at his office in Harambee House in Nairobi’s Central Business District.

According to reports, the police equipment was damaged in a show of force that Raila also condemned.
