ATTACHMENT VACANCIES AT KRA. APPLY HERE

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced numerous opportunities for candidates seeking industrial attachments.

In the announcement, KRA indicated that it was looking for continuing Bachelors Degrees’ students for its three-month industrial attachment programme.

According to KRA, the programme seeks to provide the students with an opportunity to acquire practical elements of their respective areas of specialization in partial fulfilment of their degree programmes.

KRA urged students looking for opportunities in fields such as Finance/Accounting, Economics/Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Marketing/Communication and ICT/Telecommunications to apply.

Further, the authority indicated that it is also looking to offer candidates in the Hospitality, Records Management, Library and Information Systems, Security/Criminology, Business Administration/Management and Project Management, Counselling Psychology, Disaster Management attachment opportunities.

Successful candidates must be Kenyan citizens aged between 20 and 35 years. They should also be a continuing students pursuing a first Degree (Undergraduate) from a recognized university and in their third or fourth year of study. They should have a valid introduction letter from the university and they must be available full time for the three months duration.

The candidate should go to the KRA portal under recruitment and then click on the ‘register’ tab to start the application process. After registration, the applicant will receive an email enabling them to confirm their email address and complete the registration process.

Log in and key in the username and password then click on ‘Log in’ to access your account. You will be re-directed to the ‘applicant cockpit’ and here you will create your profile.

At the ‘applicant cockpit’ page, go to the tab ‘candidate profile’ and then click on ‘my profile’ to create and update your profile. Then follow the instructions to complete your profile. The process will end by clicking the tab “Overview and Release”. Ensure you click the check box on the page to complete the profile.

How to Apply

  1. To view the open job postings, click on the tab ‘Employment Opportunities’ on the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ page. Under the heading, ‘Job Search’ click the ‘Start’ button to view all available vacancies.
  2. Click on the Job posting to display the details of the position. To apply for the position, click the ‘Apply’ button at the top of the page. Follow the set instructions to complete and submit your application.
  3. Complete the process of application, by clicking the ‘Send Application Now’ button after reviewing and accepting the data privacy statement.
