TROUBLED GOVERNOR TURNS TO HEAVY DRINKING

Reality has donned on one of the popular governors that running the county is not as easy as he thought. The first-term county boss is having a rough time settling in weeks after assuming office. Sources close to him have submitted that he has turned his office into a drinking den due to stress.

The county boss has been lamenting that his staff do not mean business and are busy looting public funds. One would wonder if he knows they are looting then why not institute disciplinary actions since he is the boss?

Turns out, the cartels he promised to fight during campaigns are very powerful people such that he is afraid of going against them. He has come to realize that they are deeply rooted in his county and fighting them is synonymous with political suicide.

The tough-talking governor has been reduced to a crybaby in his county. Word has it that he stays in the office late into the night drinking and lamenting to his friends how most county staff are rotten and all they do is swindle public funds.

Speculations are rife that some of his close friends and relatives are the same cartels he promised to fight. The former lawmaker is yet to lift a finger on the war on corruption yet it continues to thrive under his watch
