A local media house on Facebook shared information that Former prime minister Raila Odinga held an appreciation dinner for his Presidential campaign team at Safari park hotel.

According to the media retired president Uhuru Kenyatta was invited to the event but failed to attend, giving several reasons. Uhuru has maintained a low profile after he handed over power to president William Ruto.
