According to the news reaching us from a reliable source of information, the State House Road is as busy as usual with no protests going on following the yesterday’s calling off of Protests by the Azimio wing.

It should be remembered that in Nairobi, it was almost becoming a routine that Mondays and Thursdays were the days for protests that were being organized by the Azimio leadership in a bid to push the government to respond to some of the opposition’s Demands.

At a time like this (8:30AM), heavy police presence and protests could be reported in many parts of the city.

The State House Road is one of the areas where heavy police presence was reported during last Monday and Thursday demonstrations, but that is not the case today after the Azimio wing called off the protests to engage in a dialogue with William Ruto’s camp.

In a video that is now doing rounds in social media platforms, traffic jam was being witnessed at the Dennis Pritt area as at 8:30AM, with most vehicles unable to move as others broke the rules to drive on the wrong side of the road as they rushed to beat up the jam.
