CS MATIANG’I TO BECOME PRESIDENT AHEAD OF RUTO AND RAILA

Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi’ has the highest mentions for leaders who can be the next president in future, according to the research firm, Trends and Insights For Africa (TIFA).

The tough-talking CS comes ahead of Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua in the national survey TIFA research conducted between November 7 and November 13, 2021.


Matiang’i clocked 22%, while Mutua came second at 18%.

They were followed by Governors Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega) and Hassan Joho (Mombasa) at 12% and 8%, respectively.


Others were former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth (8%), NARC Kenya party leader Martha Karua (3%), Murang’a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria (2%), Embakasi East MP Babu Owino (2%) and Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana (2%).
