CHAOS AS WOMAN ACCUSES THE PRESIDENT FOR KILLING HER HUSBAND
It has been over a month since Ethiopian businessman Samson Teklemichael was abducted by persons who identified themselves as Kenyan Policemen.
Now the wife, Milen Halefom has come out to plead with the commander-in-chief of the armed forces President Uhuru Kenyatta to free her husband.
In a video plea, Milen says the family is troubled and would like help finding the missing businessman.
“My name is Milen Halefom. I am the wife of Ethiopian businessman Samson Teklemichael. My husband was kidnapped in broad daylight on the 19th of November 2021 in Kileleshwa, Nairobi by persons identified as Kenya police officers.
The abduction was captured on video by passersby who witnessed the event. Since then I have been to every police station within Nairobi and police have never given me any information concerning my husband, the reason for his abduction or arrest, the alleged crime and where he is being held. It has been over a month of agony for me and my family.”
She continued, “My children and I have not had any sleep hoping that my husband and their dad will come home. I am appealing to the Governments of Kenya and Ethiopia to help me trace the whereabouts of Sammy.”
She directed her appeal straight to Uhuru saying, “I appeal personally to President Uhuru Kenyatta of the Republic of Kenya and all media houses both local and international to help my family to address this issue and bring it to closure.
My husband was not a criminal to warrant such treatment. I am not aware of any person who had accused him of committing any crime. He is a businessman who was just minding his business when they took him.”
Her pleas continued, “Inspector General of Police Hilary Mutyambai and DCI George Kinoti please help me get my husband from your officers who took him or at least have him arraigned in court so that we can know his crime.”
Milen said that her children are troubled that their dad is missing and no one knows where he is.
“My kids who are 14, 11 and 4 have been skipping their meals from the agony of not seeing their father. The older ones even saw the clip of their dad being abducted and they have been crying asking questions that I can’t answer. What did we do to deserve this?”
