Embattled pastor, Ezekiel Odero has today morning appeared at the Shanzu Law Courts in Mombasa county ahead of his trial in the coming hours.

The pastor that leads the New Life Prayer Centre and Church located in Mavueni in Kilifi county was arrested yesterday over allegations of mass killings in hos church.

In the photo shared this morning courtesy of Kenyans.co.ke, pastor Odero is spotted speaking to his lawyer probably in preparation of the court proceedings expected to be conducted today.

Kenyans on social media have shared their different opinions over the arrest of the multimillionaire pastor whose christian following is relatively huge.

A section of them are into the opinion that the pastor is innocent and should be released as soon as possible. Others have argued that investigations should onto him should proceed. Many are asking, is Pastor Odero linked to the now famous controversial pastor, Mr Paul Mackenzie?

The government arms concerned are however working on the matter, with many speculating that churches might end up being regulated, following the alleged heinous acts by Mr Mackenzie to lead several Kenyans including children to religion slavery.
