Ruto’s Phonecall to Raila Ahead of Protests
President Wiliam Ruto has been challenged to show leadership and bring the country together as the president and head of government.

While Speaking in an exclusive Interviews with a local media house, political analyst and governance expert Ahmed Hashi called on the President to stop his firm stand and have talks with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as away of ending the Nationwide Demonstrations against his administration.
Hashi asked the head of state to make a phone call to Raila today before 9 AM, Invite him to the State House for them to have a joint press conference announcing the end of Anti-government protests as they give the country a way foward.
Hashi noted that Ruto should know that he was voted for just by a portion of Kenya’s population hence he needs to work towards bringing the country together.
“I call on President Ruto to bring this country together. It’s incumbent upon him to reach out to Raila Odinga and invite him to the State House for a joint press conference in which they can first stop these demonstrations today.” He said in part.
