RUTO APPOINTS RAILA’S CLOSE ALLY

The journey to look for the possible replacement of the former directorate of public prosecution Noordin Haji has begun, with President William ruto making appointments to panel members who will be tasked with coming up with the names of the people that will be shortlisted to fill the vacant seat.

Among those appointed by the head of state is a former Ally of the opposition leader raila odinga who campaigned vigorously to have him at state house despite losing in the August polls.

President William ruto has a nominated Francis Atwoli as part of the team that will be looking into the possible replacement of Noordin Haji. He will be joined by other team members who include Shadrach Omose,Twalb Mbarak, Richard Obwocha among other leaders drawn from the different political leanings.

The mandate of the team is expected to last for three months and their names will be forwarded to the head of state President William ruto to come up with a possible replacement.
