Raila Finally Receives Good News From Ruto
The opposition leader Raila Odinga has been given great news following today’s newspaper report, days after kicking off bipartisan discussions at the Bomas of Kenya.
The first round of the bipartisan negotiations between Kenya Kwanza and the Azimio la Umoja Coalition is scheduled for Wednesday at the Bomas of Kenya.
After a wave of protests that resulted in the deaths of innocent Kenyans and injuries to innocent bystanders, the negotiations are intended to end the deadlock between the government and the opposition.
The head of state, Dr. William Ruto, and his government are likely to field a position for the former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, so that he can countercheck the government agendas in Parliament.
This occurs shortly after the head of state himself stated it not long ago.
“I would also focus on creating the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, though it might seem unconventional or unusual. Our current framework doesn’t provide sufficient means to ensure government accountability,” Ruto stated in April.
