PARENTS RECEIVE BAD NEWS ABOUT CBC
The ministry of education receives bad news over CBC following this latest education news. Kenya has been using the 8-4-4 education system which has been working well in this country without posing any difficult.
However the ministry of education has now moved from 8-4-4 Education system to Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) education system, therefore the ministry of education has put several measures in order to see that the new Education system is successful.
Actually the CBC Education system has faced several challenges as compared with the 8-4-4 Education system like lack of enough teachers, lack of enough classrooms among others.
With this regard, the ministry of education has received bad news over Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) as the Deputy President sends this latest education news.
The Deputy President of Kenya Rigathi Gachagua has said that CBC is a difficult matter because it was rushed without proper public participation.
It is a paradigm shift in our education system in terms of the curriculum, in terms of teachers and physical facilities, the country was not ready, it was rushed. This sounds as bad news especially to the ministry of education.
