LIST OF TOP ONLINE SEARCH LIST BY KENYANS
Google has, on Wednesday, August 11, revealed that the most searched question by Kenyans online in the last 15 years is ‘how to make love’.
In the same category, Kenyans also searched for how to write a CV, what is love, how to make money online, and how to fuliza.
Kenyans also searched for how to cook pilau, what is IP, how to bake cake and how to write an application letter.
Other top searches that were made by Kenyans within the period include lawyer Miguna Miguna, Kenya Power and the English Premier League.
It was also clear that Kenyans have remained consistent in their love for football with Fantasy Premier League and English Premier League being the most loved.
Champions League, Europa League, La Liga and Serie A were the other searched sports genres.
Harambee Stars, Gor Mahia, AFC Leopards also made it to the top 10 list in the Sports category.
The love for football came hand in hand with the love for gambling with Kenya reportedly having the highest number of gamblers in Sub- Saharan Africa.
In the General Category, Betin Kenya is the third most searched as Jumia Kenya come fourth.
Brighter Monday which is a job website that was founded in Kenya in 2006 was fifth in the General Category. Kenya Power was seventh in the list.
Other most searched items included; December Holidays and the Kenya Law Report which closed the list of top searched items in the general category.
When it came to personalities, President Uhuru Kenyatta was the most searched followed by opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Deputy President William Ruto was the third most searched personality closely followed by lawyer Miguna Miguna.
Miguna Miguna has been the talk of town especially after he was deported to Canada in February 2018.
The fifth person who topped the list of personalities is former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
Others are Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino, Television personality Betty Kyalo and former Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore.
State House spokesperson Kanze Dena and Citizen TV presenter Jeff Koinange followed in the list of the most searched personalities.
On institutions, Kenyatta University, University of Nairobi and Moi University topped the list. Moi and Mount Kenya Universities followed closely.
