Current situation in Kisumu city as rowdy youths storm government office after the Jua Kali shooting incident that left a form 2 student at Rangala Girls High School dead and 3 others nursing injuries.

According to the information by a reliable source of information, the rowdy youths stormed the Independent Policing Oversight Authority, IPOA offices in Kisumu while demanding for the arrest of the police officer who is linked to the shooting.

A police officer had shot dead a young girl, a pillion passenger in a bodaboda when pursuing a Matatu driver who had defied orders to stop at a road block.

The tense situation in Kisumu comes as Raila has already landed in the lakeside city and is set to hold a rally in Nyamasaria, Ahero and Kondele after a food distribution exercise in Nyando where the ravaging floods had led to destruction of properties and lose of livelihoods.
