Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka now says Kenya will clear all its debts within two years should the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) clinch the country’s presidency. 

Speaking on Sunday in Thika where the OKA principals were attending a church service at ATG Church, Kalonzo said the country is full of mineral-rich areas which have not been exploited, and that they are the alliance’s main target as a source of money. 

“One of the things we are proposing as OKA is our copper and iron-filled hills… a lot of these places we have not discovered have very valuable resources,” said Kalonzo. 

He went on to add: “Kitui, for example, is full of copper. What we propose to do is use all these untapped natural resources and within two years we will have cleared all our debts.” 

Led by Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang’ula, Kanu Chairman Gideon Moi, and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, the alliance announced its countrywide presidential campaigns on Friday in Kakamega town. 

The principals further added that they would be naming their presidential candidate in the next eight weeks.
